We love Harvest Moon. I’m not sure which is better- the people or the food. Each year that Harvest Moon has supported our annual benefit concert they have exceeded expectations with an innovative and delicious menu and an enthusiastic and talented staff. We are so grateful for your involvement and expertise. There is a certainty of an excellent event when you are working with Harvest Moon. From the food, to the presentation to the outstanding staff, it’s always superior.  We are so grateful for Harvest Moon’s support of our annual benefit concert. It provides assurances that our donors will have an outstanding experience. We always receive high praise about the food.  Harvest Moon consistently delivers innovative and delicious food and it always looks as good as it tastes: outstanding!

Hey Mark,
The event went really well and Barbara was a huge part in its success. I really can’t say enough complimentary things about her………she was so incredibly helpful with both set up and the onsite organization of tasks, etc. She is so enjoyable to work with- so accommodating, so responsive and so dependable. She was there whenever I needed anything and I felt 100% confident with her in charge. Not only is she efficient, she has a great attitude and I sincerely enjoy working with her. Although my budgets aren’t always the biggest, Barbara always makes me feel like I’m an important client and goes that extra mile to make sure all my needs are met. I honestly can’t thank her enough! I’ve gotten great feedback so far from alums and will look forward to working with her again in the future.

VDI loves working with Harvest Moon Catering.  The service, presentation, and food were truly outstanding and wonderful. All I have to do is send an email and everything is taken care of.  Menu ideas are sent over and dishes, flatware, linens, glassware are provided. Servers are provided. And the food is delicious and mouthwatering, More than we can possibly eat.

Our experience at the Harvest Moon exceeded all our expectations.  Served in courses, the meal was a work of art, as beautiful as it was delicious.  Delightful fresh asparagus soup with shaved slivers of asparagus, served with hush puppies delicately drizzled with a wonderful sauce was served on an artsy rectangular porcelain plate.  A perfectly prepared main course of beef  tenderloin medallions and shrimp, decorated with healthy veggies, including a serving of crispy-cooked green beans and a “smashed” potato “cake”, a dish reminiscent of a Salade Nicoise, according to Mark, and more beautiful sauces were next. And the dessert of lemon curd napoleons with drizzled raspberry sauce was sensational.
The dining experience was complemented by  amusing company, not the least of which was a guided tour throughout the establishment, and meeting all of the staff who were so gracious to entertain us.
We all loved it and licked our plates and fingers.

Harvest Moon is absolutely fantastic.  Anyone who can make catered breakfast enticing, desirable and simply delicious has my vote.  I have had Harvest Moon caterer breakfast, lunch and dinner and then can do no wrong, simply divine cuisines.  You all are cost efficient working with a variety of price ranges, professional and your staff is wonderful, cleaning up behind themselves.  You all are one of those caterer where from a planner perspective, I don’t worry, you do what you do best.  It has been a great pleasure to work with you and refer you to others.

Mark & Barbara,

I can’t tell you how glad I am that we chose to work with Harvest Moon for our event Monday night.  Shay and Chris did a great job communicating with me and checking in with me through the night.  I thought the rest of the staff was also very professional and pleasant.  I got nothing but compliments about the service and food, and I must say from my own perspective the food was outstanding.  The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were great.  A large part of our motivation for selecting the company was the ratings we had found online and the fact that you had been voted best in Cville the last two years – I’m happy we listened to everyone!  Ultimately, I don’t think our experience could have been any better.

Thank you both so much for making the event so successful.  The menu was creative; the food was delicious (and that cake! wow!)  People raved about you and enjoyed the moment thoroughly.

I loved having you here, Maria.  You’re loving presence, your professionalism, and efficiency, and organization (not to mention your strength carrying all those coolers!) really took all the worry out of holding a party.  I did not have to think of one thing!  Plus, my kitchen was left spotless!  How many times the after effects of a party are overwhelming.  Maria, you are the best.  Thank you so much and thank you for leaving everything so tidy.

I personally wanted to take this opportunity to inform you on how professional your staff and how delicious the food was at the MS Bike Event this past Saturday Evening and Sunday Morning.
I was the designated MS Employee to oversee the food tent for over 500 participants at the MS Bike Event. With volunteers beside me and your excellent and friendly staff my job ran smooth. We had many compliments on the foods presentation, the taste and the courteous service you all presented. Chad Ervin, Head Chef, was “Excellent” in customer service, along with professionalism he displayed towards our participants. We had a very successful fundraising event. I am sure you will be receiving additional thank you’s and compliments, however, I, personally being assigned to the food tent and being their the entire time while the food was being served, noticed and heard it all. Dear Carrie,
We just wanted to thank you and your chef for a truly lovely luncheon yesterday. The food was delicious and plentiful. It was beautifully presented on the platters and stands. The rosemary lemonade was a hit with all, and those tiny tarts were crowd pleasers. The green disposables were very convenient.
The weather cooperated and Mary Jo’s garden was a delightful setting. Docents and members of the UVa Art Museum were impressed, and we are sure that the Museum will choose Harvest Moon for future events.

Everything was wonderful!  All of your staff did a great job and were so accommodating and helpful.  Barbara made everything so much easier for me prior to the event.  I cannot tell you how helpful and great she was to me!  I would recommend Harvest Moon to anyone basically because of her.  I was a real challenge for her since we were dealing with so many couples who did not want to go over a certain budget.  Everything I threw at Barbara, she came back with great suggestions and ideas.  She was so positive and upbeat, even when I was getting upset.  Please make sure she gets deserved credit for all her diligence and hard work!
